Poppy Fields of the Tuscan Desert (2003)

Presented is a view of the 'Tuscan desert' in the South of the region in an area called Crete Senesi. This is so-called due to the round clay hillocks eroded by heavy rain over many centuries. Sheep milk farmed in this region is used to produce the popular Tuscan cheese 'pecorino'.

Prints are supplied on 230 gsm coated acrylic paper from the original media of gouache and acrylics
